Taiwanese Wuyi Black, Spring 2021


This tea was organically produced in late spring 2020 and has quickly become one of our favorites! The flavor profile is much different than our usual selections, with a more savory edge than usual. Dominating notes are of daylily leaves and spice, with a very rich body that steeps to a dark orange pretty quickly.

Made from a Wuyi varietal tree transplanted to Taiwan a couple decades back.
