Jin Jun Mei (pronounced close to "Gin June May") translates to something like "golden beautiful eyebrow" because of the shape and color, and is one of the most well-regarded black teas in China. This tea is grown in the Fujian province and carries strong dark honey notes along with rich florals. The dry leaf aroma alone is worth experiencing in my opinion — comparable to cinnamon raisin toast! Quite a delightful tea. Also to be found is malt and molasses, and I sometimes note a touch of fruit and cocoa.
