Quick Sips: Tons of complexity and a full, rounded body. Incredible texture with rich velvety mouthfeel, notes of walnut and fruit with a gold bud Yunnan black tea vibe to it!

This is our only pu-erh pressing of 2019, and I'm not even a little bit sad about that. This small batch tea was pressed in a very small family-run warehouse in Yunnan.
When I first tasted this material, I was in love. This is a thick and juicy gold bud pu-erh, and it hits the tongue with such clarity and vibrance, then goes on to be one of the most rewarding textural experiences I've found in a tea. The mouthfeel is pure velvet and the finish is sweet and nutty. The overall taste is very similar to a gold bud Yunnan black tea — just imagine that experience but in a lightly fermented ripe pu-erh. After the first cup, I'm generally feeling the immense and, once again, very clear energy that this tea brings.
There are only 100 cakes of this incredible tea available, and I would urge all ripe pu-erh lovers to pick one up!
